Immobiliser/TPMS Control Module - Removal

Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the motorcycle.

Perform the following operations

Perform the following operations:

Seat - Remove L Series

Battery - Remove L Series

Fuel Tank - Remove L Series

Immobiliser Remove LG1; LGX

  1. Remove and discard the rear fixing from the ABS modulator bracket.
    2. ABS Modulator_1 (ckuq)

    2. ABS modulator multiplug

    3. ABS modulator rear fixing

    4. Brake line unions

  2. Remove and discard the two fixings and remove the ABS modulator and bracket assembly from the frame.
    3. ABS Modulator_front fixings_1 (ckus)

    2. ABS modulator bracket

  3. Manoeuvre the ABS modulator to the left hand side to gain access to the immobiliser electrical connector.
  4. Unclip the immobiliser electrical connector from the ABS modulator bracket.
  5. Disconnect the immobiliser from the main harness. Feed the harness through the frame, noting the routing for installation.

  6. Remove the two fixings and remove the immobiliser/TPMS module.
    7. Immobiliser_1 (ckum)
